WHERE TO STAY IN AMSTERDAM: ECOMAMA

When I was looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam for my friend Thibault and myself, I found two establishments branded as hostels.

In the first place, I gotta admit the hostel word kinda threw me off. But as soon as I discovered they had private rooms, I immediately wanted to go. I'm not the lets share a room with strangers kind of guy but I definitely was ok with a private room at the centre of Amsterdam.

Staff was more than helpful And welcoming when we arrived very early in the morning. We were able to leave our luggage so we wouldn't have to carry it all over Amsterdam until our room was ready.

The lovely front desk receptionist showed us the different parts of ECOMAMA. I was immediately seduced by the swings and the lobby. More over, if you plan on not eating at restaurants, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen in the lobby where you can cook your meals and then enjoy them at the communal table or in the tipi!

Price was very decent compared to other prices we saw for the same kind of room In Amsterdam. If you're looking for high luxury and classy hotel, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're looking for a nice, hip accommodation that has a very ecological side, this definitely is the place you are looking for!

Loved ECOMAMA and would go back in a heartbeat!
